Helping you care for your health. Welcome to the Crist Clinic. Our Clinic was established in January 1973, to provide excellent gynecological health care for women of all ages and economic levels. The Clinic has since expanded to include primary health care services for both men and women, family planning and abortion services and counseling. The Crist Clinic was the first free-standing Ambulatory (same-day) Surgery Center in North Carolina. Licensed for this purpose in 1980, the Clinic was also the first outpatient surgery clinic to to approved by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. At the Crist Clinic, we believe in the holistic approach to health care. Holistic means total care of your body. It is based on the simple, yet often unpracticed principle, that your body's organs function as a complete unit. One malfunction may upset other normal functions. Therefore, we treat the entire person in addition to the specific area of complaint. This approach results in a more complete and satisfactory recovery.
